For a long time now, Winmx users have been fighting back and blocking these flood attacks at every opportunity, now with the new Winmx Community Patch we are going to take that fight to a new level with the goal of irradicating such flooding by blocking those who attack us, and indeed by filtering out the few fake files that do make it through, with all WinMX users using the same method to do so, the WinMX Community Patch. The Winmx network like all other p2p networks is under attack from a number of agencies who flood the networks with fake files. This new patch will be supported and promoted by both Winmx World and Mxpie, as well as a number of affiliated groups and individuals.
Now for the first time, both teams have come together to offer the WinMX Community Patch from a Winmx user and long time developer known as Eagle. Since then we have seen a number of reconnection patch solutions backed independantly by the 2 major Winmx support groups Vladd44's Mxpie and Winmx Worlds Winmx group.
Winmx is entering a new era, the community is now again steadily growing it's userbase and is stronger then ever since the 2005 server shut down.
